The Headlines:
In the role of transportation specialist working in Trenton, Ohio you will be part of the Production Services Team in Brewery Operations. You will be responsible for brewery supply chain logistics relating to all modes of transportation with service to distributors with the goal of providing product to the distributors on an on-time, as ordered basis.
This position reports to the Manager Production Services and works closely with Brewery Operational Teams – Brewing, Packaging, & Shipping.
The Responsibilities:
Leads and supports local brewery transportation initiatives
Leads, develops and implements transportation solutions for brewery operations
Manages supply chain logistics
Develops and executes shipment/revenue objectives, brewery requirements and distributor needs
The Other Qualifications:
Possess a proven track record of achievement in a high speed, high volume manufacturing environment
Demonstrable evidence of driving World Class Supply Initiatives to deliver on challenging objectives
You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of the business priorities. You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy
You are serious about delivering results, and take pride in a proven track record in delivering.
We prefer you have a BS in Industrial Engineering and/or Supply Chain Management.
We prefer you to have an advanced degree in Supply Chain and/or MBA preferred.
You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in transportation/logistics
You will have a full understanding of major supply chain, logistics, and manufacturing processes.
You will also have working knowledge of transportation regulations at a Federal and State level.
