Schedule: Candidate must be able to work every Monday and the rest of the week will be a flexible schedule based off of business needs.
The Transportation Sanitation Associate is responsible for maintaining sanitation levels in company tractors as assigned and as set forth by company standards. This position will be responsible for the assigned tractors on the Lakeland campus.
What You’ll Do:
Wash and clean Saddle Creek Transportation tractors as assigned.
Ensure that the highest degree of sanitation is maintained in the tractors.
Use various tools and equipment, including cleaning brushes, hose, hand brooms, blowers, vacuum cleaners, powered tools, and various equipment to meet company sanitation standards.
Ensure that trash is removed from the cabs to keep them clean and maintained.
Maintain sanitation area, supplies, and inventory of those supplies.
Complete daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning checklists.
Comply with OSHA standards.
Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor.
What We Need from You:
Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Must be able to perform any physically exerting duties outdoors or in a transportation shop environment. This location is not temperature controlled, meaning the indoor temperature fluctuates throughout the seasons.
Helpful Experience (Not Required)
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous sanitation experience.
