Leidos is seeking an Engineering Supervisor for 3rd Party Make Ready Electric Utilities. We’re looking for someone who is dedicated to ensuring that every project, no matter how simple or complex, is of exceptional quality. Your Impact
This position has the potential to oversee work throughout the Northern and Midwest regions of the United States. This role will help to oversee a team of designers, engineers, drafters, and field technicians to accomplish designs for various fiber clients wishing to attach to existing electric utility power poles. The engineering supervisor will also support business development, proposal development, creation of marketing materials, and driving the implementation of automation.
As a Third Party Make Ready Supervisor, You can also expect to take part in:
Execution of existing design programs for various clients
Financial monitoring and reporting
Providing technical and metrics oversight, direction, and support for project teams
Team hiring and development
Performing functional tasks, planning, and/or customer follow-up
Initiating continuous improvement to workflow processes that drive efficiency and high-quality standards in client design deliverables
What Sets You Apart (Background Requirements):
Bachelor’s Degree & 4+ years of relevant experience working with third party attachments for electric utilities; Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
Some Previous experience in Pole Modeling
Ability to demonstrate Proficient knowledge in NESC
Proven ability to communicate with clients and project teams

Candidates located in the Boston area with the ability to work out of our Framingham, Massachusetts office will be preferred. However, we can consider candidates for remote work who have relevant and applicable experience if they are located elsewhere in the US.

Pay Range: Pay Range $66,300.00 – $102,000.00 – $137,700.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
Expected salary: $66300 – 137700 per year
