Summary of Job Duties: **This position participates in a group 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year, on-call rotation where each member of the group takes call for 1 week at a time.**

Assist with maintenance of the organization’s enterprise IT communications infrastructure.

Processes service requests and ensures solution can be achieved through high quality deliverables.

Documents the interactions between systems and applications within the environment to ensure performance, reliability, enhanced scalability, and proper security requirements.

Interprets interactions to evaluate the impact of changes or additions as requested by our organization on a daily basis.

Conducts cost and traffic analysis to determine the best use of resources. Manages multiple applications, systems, network, and IT Communications activities. May include programming, analysis, networking, data processing, and/or administration responsibilities.

Resolves technical problems and coordinates information system priorities. Works closely with management, other departments and customers to ensure effective integration among information systems and the UAMS IT infrastructure.

Works with all other areas of the department to insure cross functional support, synergy and needs to support all department and company objectives.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing IT related hardware.

Ability to work in a team environment and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Licenses, certificates, or registrations: ​

A+ Certification,

MTA,

MCSA

MCSE

MS Office Tools: Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint; and/or Microsoft Project
