Job description: About the Role
Are you an experienced user interface or user experience designer looking for a new challenge? Our Senior UI designers will have the chance to lead exciting projects related to automotive UX/UI work that pushes the boundaries of the latest in interface design. Senior designers are expected to not just lead design projects but also mentor juniors as well as be active participants in client meetings to help drive the process forward. While prior automotive experience is not required, an interest and understanding of the automotive/mobility world is a plus.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Create and define various design ideas using moodboards, moodgraphics, and moodscreens
- Experience in the development and maintenance of design systems
- Sound experience in defining interface paradigms
- Define visual actions (transitions and animations)
- Collaborate with information architects on overarching UX concepts
- Take over conceptual tasks (e.g. wireframes), if necessary
- Contribute top-rate graphic assets to prototypes
- Design presentations
- Present the team and your work internally and externally to clients
- Lead and mentor junior and mid-level designers
- Are interested in related subjects
- Enjoy national and international travel
- Actively contribute to our company culture, mutual exchanges and inspiration
Qualifications
__Qualifications:
- Degree in design or comparable vocational training
- Extensive experience designing for various platforms
- Digital native who’s familiar with and helps drive the latest design trends
- Interested in perfecting pixels as well as creating the overall experience
- Experience with the latest tools and lasting interest in the latest methodologies
- Expert in Adobe CC Suite
- 3D know-how, e.g. Cinema 4D and/or motion design know-how, e.g. After Effects
- Familiarity with prototyping tools, usability testing and user research is a big plus
