Job description: Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Secret Senior Telecommunications Engineer who will support a government contract located in Kaneohe, HI. The Secret Senior Telecommunications Engineer will be responsible for repairing, installing, modifying, upgrading companies’ telecommunications systems and related equipment.
Responsibilities for Secret Senior Telecommunications Engineer:
· Install, operate, and maintain voice and data telecommunications network circuits and equipment. Maintain inventory, place equipment orders, and inspect orders upon receipt.
· Create network mapping such as labeling and routing equipment and cables and recording configuration diagrams and specifications.
· Perform Network troubleshooting and network outage support, testing network contingencies, and maintaining appropriate documentation.
· Establish voice and data networks through running, pulling, terminating, and splicing cables. Installation of telecommunications equipment, routers, switches, multiplexors, cable trays, and alarm and fire-suppression systems
· Develop and plan network installations through studying client orders, plans, manuals, and technical specifications; ordering and gathering equipment, supplies, materials, and tools; assessing installation sites; and preparing an installation diagram.
Qualifications for Secret Senior Telecommunications Engineer:
· Must possess an Active Secret Clearance
· Currently have an active certification in the following (CCNA, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, BCSI-OSP, BCSI- Installer) and CompTIA Security+
· 6+ Years of Unified Communications (UC) Telecommunications Engineer Experience to support integration and Operations and management (O&M) operations.
· Bachelors degree in IT networking or similar degree
Compensation for Secret Senior Telecommunications Engineer:
- $105,000 – $115,000 *Depending on Experience.
