The Sales Executive is a dynamic role covering many facets of both CenterGrid Sales, Marketing, Solution Development, as well as some Infrastructure Operations. This is a combined role that includes:
- Developing marketing materials for CenterGrid services
- Developing sales and pricing strategies for CenterGrid services
- Significant customer interaction through requirements gathering and solution design/review
The Sales Executive’s performance will be based on:
- Contributions to the CenterGrid technology roadmap
- Contributions to Marketing & Sales strategy
- Accurate Solutioning (accurate cost / price estimates)
- Solutions that hit profitability targets and align with CG core offerings
- Growth of recurring revenue
- The signing of new customers
- The attraction of new talent
Other duties, or activities that benefit the Vora Group and CenterGrid companies, employees, and surrounding community are considered an active component in this position’s performance and encouraged.
Responsibilities and skills listed below are a starting point for the Sales Executive.
Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinate/collaborate on the creation of CenterGrid standardized IT and security services and solutions.
- Respond to customer RFPs and sales opportunities, including discovery and investigations to identify quantities and pricing requirements.
- Draft service and solution documentation.
- Deliver technical product presentations via web conferencing.
- Provide Presales Support via web conferencing and email, onsite when required.
- Provide product installations and custom product configurations remotely for customer trials.
- Work with the Sales and Service Management teams as a liaison to accounts around technical product requirements.
- Help train the MSP Sales Teams on CenterGrid technology and support for technical sales and competitive messaging.
- Visit customers prospects and vendors when required.
- Participate and attend tradeshow, events, and any other related activities with regards of increasing CenterGrid visibility and market share.
- Do market analysis of existing services and solutions for market competitiveness.
- Draft blog posts, white papers, testimonials, thought leadership pieces regarding the industry, trends, and market needs to further CenterGrid and our web engagement.
- Complete specific projects with minimal supervision, on time and budget
- Design process and solutions for both internal and external needs across technology or customer boundaries
- Provide leadership and management of all employees when needed
- Self-build teams to meet company objectives
- Train junior staff on all facets of the business
- Support security protocols
- Assist in the design and maintenance of the IT asset inventory and CMDB related to automation and tooling needs
- Provide input into Continual Service Improvement processes
- Perform tasks as assigned with minimal supervision
- Perform tasks within a collaborative team environment
- Maintain adherence to attendance, work schedule, and prepared to begin work at scheduled start time
- Interact with co-workers to coordinate and disseminate information to complete job assignments in order to attain company service objectives
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
- Ability to articulate service, solution, and infrastructure concepts to a diverse set of audiences
- 10 years experience within Managed Services or similar IT field, aligned to IT Security
- 10 years experience with networking and secure computing
- 10 years experience with VMware, server, networking, storage, and security hardware/solutions
- 5-10 years understanding of automation and Infrastructure as Code concepts
- 5-10 years experience with MSP tooling (monitoring, scheduling, reporting, configuration management)
- 10 years experience with Veeam Backup and Recovery, CloudConnect, Backup for O365
- 5 years experience with SaaS solutions
- 10 years experience with industry compliance requirements and standards such as NIST, SOC 2, CIS, HIPAA, PCI, etc.
- In-depth experience managing/leading IT business related projects
- An interest in all facets of IT hardware, software, principles, and doctrine
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially geared towards resolving new and complex issues.
- Expert written and verbal communication skills
- Must maintain a professional image, attitude, and demeanor
- Must be able to work under pressure, handle stress, and direct other staff to accomplish company objectives
- Strong customer service orientation
- Must have demonstrated troubleshooting experience and discover solutions
- Must have demonstrated self-motivated and excellent organizational skills
- Must demonstrate ability to work with others and promote a harmonious working relationship throughout the company
- Ensure all necessary operational processes and procedures are carried out with a high level of attention to detail, expediency, and on-time delivery
- Be ethical, fair, and of high integrity
- Excellent punctuality and attendance
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Using an operational ticketing system
- VMware vCloud Director, NSX, vRealize Ops, vRealize Business
- Zscaler secure networking services
- ITIL v3 Foundations certification desired
- Experience with Major Incident support
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Experience with security best practices and Incident Response processes and products
- Experience supporting and selling SaaS products
- Experience with Virtualization/VDI technologies
