The Associate Account Executive is primarily responsible for collaborating with the assigned Account Executives within an assigned geographic sales Region. In addition, they are responsible for building relationships, driving sales growth, in-servicing accounts on core service lines and attaining corporate goals and objectives within that Region under the guidance of the Regional Sales Director (RSD).

You are responsible for:

  • Collaborating with the RSD, who prioritizes their time to help the Region achieve their monthly revenue goals and other corporate objectives
  • Working primarily with assigned Account Executives where they are coached, mentored and trained by them
  • Handling vacant territories within the Region as directed by the RSD
  • Traveling on average up to 75% within the Region or otherwise as needed, which may require overnight travel
  • Handling administrative matters for the Region as directed by the RSD that may include inventory management, issue resolutions, baseline calls, patient follow up, etc.
  • Working with internal operations to help solve issues or problems accounts may have in accordance with policies and procedures
  • Maintaining detailed accurate account profiles via Customer Relationship Management system
  • Educating customers and patients on core business and other emerging businesses
  • Assisting/Developing an annual business plan that will be modified on a quarterly basis including clear, concise plans and strategies to help meet Regional quotas
  • Communicating to management competitive strategies, market conditions and sales progress
  • Attending and participating in required meetings, sales training, conventions, trade shows and key referral organizations
  • Effective territory planning to achieve the maximum efficiency of time to service and develop current accounts, cultivating new accounts, obtaining orders, and producing adequate sales volume to meet/exceed sales or other specific goals
  • Effectively communicating with sales management and various departments (Clinical/Customer Operations, Sales Operations, Marketing, Reimbursement, etc.) on competitive issues, territory issues, status of orders, etc.
  • Conducting group presentations to customers for product and/or educational training, as required. Be available to conduct product presentations and in-service training to staff and clinicians at various accounts, which could include all hospital shifts and may need to be accomplished after normal business hours. Tailor presentations and materials for specific customer needs and requirements.
  • Adhering to company’s standards of business ethics
  • Operating within approved budget guidelines to obtain optimal efficiency in serving customer needs
  • Submitting required completed reports according to deadlines

Philips BioTelemetry is part of the AM&D business and provides remote cardiac monitoring services for more than one million patients per year. Philips acquired BioTelemetry in early 2021. To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 1 year sales experience (B2B) strongly preferred (internships included) that blends with a strong service environment
  • Minimum 1 year medical sales experience strongly preferred, including both services and capital equipment sales
  • History of outstanding sales achievements and proven sales skills; if applicable
  • A core goal for this position is for the individual to be coached, mentored and trained to be an Account Executive within 3 years. Must be willing to relocate for next opportunity.
  • Strong work ethic, very adaptive, innovative and results driven. Excellent organizational skills with strong follow through ability. Team Player; solid cross functional relationship building skills. Coachable with ability to manage change well. Strong analytical/problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Communicates effectively, including strong presentation skills
  • Dedication to high degree of customer service
