About the Role:
Wing is looking for a Reverse Logistics Manager, North America to join our Operations team based in Palo Alto, CA or Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate has a passion for developing and overseeing reverse logistics operations in drone delivery business settings. Additionally, this role will be focused on the implementation of our overhaul and rebuild initiatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the support of our growing reverse logistics operations in North America, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that Wing’s reverse logistics operations run smoothly
- Develop operations processes and systems by determining product handling requirements, overhaul and rebuild procedures ad recycling strategy
- Partner closely with vendors and cross functional teams to set and/or implement Reverse Logistics processes, procedures, and systems and follow through with implementation
- Analyze and work with 3PSP (Third Party Service Provider) and cross functional team to improve reverse logistics operations processes, yield, workflow, and implement changes
- Manage relationships with key operations service providers, vendors, and contract manufacturing
- Work closely with the inventory manager and team to perform analysis of reverse logistics inventory and ensure we are managing our inventory effectively, maintaining solid inventory data, and cycle time
- Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure timely payment
What You’ll Need:
- BS or higher in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, in related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in service logistics operations experience.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications, and developing repeatable assembly or repair processes
- Experience querying operational datasets with SQL to analyze processes
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP Inventory system
- Ability to engage with multiple teams across different regions to ensure accurate information transfer
- Experience in freight services and transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel domestically 20-30% of the time (Palo Alto, CA & Dallas, TX)
Bonus
- Technical project management skills such as asset management, project planning, issue tracking and task scoping
- Experience in drone or flight system manufacturing
- Experience in a fast paced production environment in both NPI and sustaining phases
- Ability to apply design and able to review the end to end process and identify opportunities for improvement
- Experience in a highly regulated records management domain (e.g. aviation, transportation, logistics)
- Passion for aviation and autonomous robotic systems
The US base salary range for this full-time position is the salary range below + bonus + equity + benefits. Wing’s salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your location during the hiring process.
Salary Range
$125,000-$187,000 USD
