Job description: Acrisure has been named the fastest growing insurance brokerage firm three years in a row by Business Insurance Magazine. IBTX Insurance, an Acrisure agency partner, has an exciting opportunity for a Personal Lines Account Manager.
The role of the Personal Lines Account Manager will be managing clients, service request changes for clients and processes required by carriers. Additional responsibilities will include renewal, remarketing as well as the ability to work on new business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides timely, professional, accurate, communication to client, team, carrier representatives and underwriters
- Willing to work opportunities that come in from electronic means, social media, and alliance partner portals
- Result driven vs Process/Time Driven is encouraged
- Enjoys a fast- paced work environment and can also perform daily call blocks, servicing blocks
- Project oriented with proactive philosophy on required rewrites, following up with NOC lists, and Renewals
- Oversees the preparation and implementation of all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts
- Verifies accuracy of all endorsements and policies
- Markets account renewals
- Keep and maintain confidentiality of client records and communication
- Has strong social skills, but, also the skill of time management, project focus, etc.
- Enjoys talking to clients and prospects when handling coverage changes; informs and educates clients about coverage, exclusions and exposures while documenting the agency management system
- Seeks referrals from client base, and is committed to growth
- Completes account reviews and makes recommendations to client to provide them with effective coverage and/or more competitive pricing
- Maintains current knowledge of lines of coverage and products
- Maintains required electronic files accurately and consistently
- Will work in a high communication role with leadership, and drive activities based on reports and initiatives of the week
- Verifies accuracy of direct-billed cancellations, taking corrective action when necessary; uses agency credit and collection policies on all transactions

Education and/or Experience:
- Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Property & Casualty Insurance License, required
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience working inside an independent insurance agency
Computer Skills:
- Competent and proficient understanding of the Microsoft Office suite
Other Qualifications:
- Ability to effectively communicate professionally with internal and external customers
- Must have experience working with agency management system utilized in the independent agency space
- Ability to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members
- Ability to contribute to a collaborative environment by consistently demonstrating teamwork, high motivation, positive behavior and effort to achieve goals and objectives
- Above average written and verbal language skills required
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as insurance policies, contractual insurance requirements, endorsements, agency workflows and procedures, certificates of insurance, marketing and submission reports and any other documents required for this position
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Fluent ability with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, proficient and accurate keyboarding. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and withdraw valid
- Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues
- Ability to demonstrate moral character, honesty, tact, fairness, lack of prejudice and desire to help when dealing with people
- Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
