Procter & Gamble is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to help drive innovation and transformation for their global enterprise network. Qualified candidates should have 3-5 years of network operations experience, working across wide range of telecommunication technologies and services including Microsoft Teams and O365, SBC, SIP, LAN, WAN, Security, Wireless, SDWAN, Remote Access, Voice and Cloud connectivity. The candidates must also exhibit strong professional skills including communications, self-motivated, adaptable and diligent.

Responsibilities:

Key functions include incident management, problem management, capacity management, performance management, and standards compliance, with a focus on service restoration, sustainability, and proactive service improvement.

Provide technical guidance for MSFT Teams collaboration platform operational support involving SBC, SIP, AudioCodes technologies, able to identify required resources beyond telecommunications.

Collaborates with 3rd party suppliers for identified root cause for chronic incident such as hardware, software, firmware bugs or misconfigurations.

Problem Management – Responsible for monitoring and initial review, assessment, classification of Problem ticketing queue using ServiceNow. Ensure problem owner is assigned.

Collaborate closely with peer IT organizations helping to influence, guide and direct technical outcomes, ensuring mutual operational alignment.

Escalation points for critical and/or chronic incidents, provide subject matter leadership to L2 Operations, helping to restore service.

Catalyst in the definition and generation of new tools and automation capabilities, driving software defined capabilities that improve outcomes, minimizing risk, and promote agility.

Deliver training and technical leadership to all key stakeholder organizations ensuring successful knowledge transfer, and the ability to be self-sufficient in support of their primary roles.

Lead/Contributor on key operational projects, representing the organization and working closely with Project Managers, Operations, Business Units, Suppliers, Peer Organizations and IT stakeholders.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Engineering.

English B2+

Technical certifications, solid understanding and experience of the following network, voice and security technologies, protocols and services (desired)

Certifications Preferred: Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, Microsoft Azure, AWS Cloud, F5, Firewall, Security, Teams Voice

Knowledge of Carrier Services – WAN Circuits, MPLS, VPN, VRFs, DWDM, Point to Point, and SIP Trunking

Knowledge of networking infrastructure suppliers and service offerings including Cisco Firewalls (FMC/FTD), Viptela, F5 Networks, Aruba, Juniper, CradlePoint, Zscaler, Microsoft Teams, SBC.

Experience with applications and services such as SBC, MSFT CQD and Teams Admin portal, Cisco ACS/ISE, CA Spectrum, Plixer, Netbox, Rendezvous, Cisco Prime, Infoblox, Netscout, Netbrain, ThousandEyes, ServiceNow, Wireshark, and Splunk

Deep technical hand-on experience in Microsoft365, SBC, and IPAM, SDWAN, Wireless, Firewall, Routing and Switching, DCNM/VXLAN

Experience in network features and protocols such as spanning tree, TCP/IP V4/V6, SIP, ARP, CDP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, VTP, Etherchannel, 802.1Q trunking, MLS, HSRP, GLBP, VSS/VSL, QoS, Multicast, 802.11x, IPsec, RADIUS/TACACS+, SNMP, NTP, and HTTP

Advanced knowledge of Call Quality Dashboard (CQD), QOS, Call-Queuing, routing, hunt-group, Voice gateway configuration, SRST, dial peer configuration, TCP/IP, QSIG, SIP, H323, MGCP and SCCP voice networking topologies.

Experience in operational support of MSFT Teams collaboration platform and AudioCodes SBC and Voice gateways and switches (desired).

Desired Characteristics

Ability to optimally prioritize and execute tasks in support of business-critical programs

Able to work independently to capture requirements and translate those into solutions

Proficient in using Microsoft O365 suite for effective collaboration and communications, especially Teams and Voice

Strong analytical skills, able to use data to find opportunities, recognize problems, and draw logical conclusions.

Ability to produce and present technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel

Participate in a week-long on-call rotation.
