Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Transportation Analyst (Level 3) to join our Emergent Operations team in Seattle, Washington or Mesa, Arizona on 1st shift, Monday through Friday and Tuesday through Saturday, with occasional rotating weekend shifts, as needed.
This role supports enterprise transportation and logistics across all business units critical to the supply chain health, enabling production, and meeting various program needs. This is a new position due to increased growth on our Emergent Operations team. The Transportation Analyst will work to provide optimal solutions utilizing contracted carriers for all modes of transportation, balancing schedule and cost.

Position Responsibilities:
Analyze transportation management processes to ensure they meet customer requirements
Support function including problem analysis, tracking and tracing shipments, expedite shipment management
Determine the most cost-effective methods for transporting goods without sacrificing efficiency and timeliness
Create cost estimates, and present transportation options balancing cost and schedule
Prepare documentation to support routing and logistics functional requirements
Collect, analyze, and make recommendations using data about timeliness, cost, types of modes, etc.
Interpret and apply logistics policies, processes and methodologies to support business initiatives
Execute International freight transactions in accordance with Federal and Regulatory Agency guidelines
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
3+ years of experience working in logistics or transportation
3+ years of experience communicating with senior managers and executives, customers (internal and external), business partners / suppliers / subcontractors, and government representatives
3+ years of experience with multi-tasking and working in a team environment
3+ years of experience in a role that required strong communication and interpersonal skills
3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership
1+ years of experience with freight forwarding and/or transportation modes: FTL, LTL, International and Domestic Air Freight, Ocean, Small Parcel
1+ years of experience with documentation and certification requirements of dangerous goods in transportation in support to compliance initiatives
Willingness and flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, or occasional rotating weekend shifts, as needed
Bachelor’s degree
Typical Education/ Experience:
Typically, 6 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Shift:
This position is for 1st shift; Monday through Friday and Tuesday through Saturday, with occasional rotating weekend shifts, as needed.

Summary pay range – Seattle, Washington: $77,350 – $104,650
Summary pay range – Mesa, Arizona: $72,250 – $97,750
