Pay Range: $65,000 to $90,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
Air Squared Manufacturing, Inc. is an OEM manufacturer of scroll type compressors, vacuum pumps and expanders for the medical, aerospace, fuel cell and power generation industries. Air Squared offers exciting career opportunities working on projects including NASA MOXIE, Leading Electric and Autonomous Vehicle OEM, DOE Clean Energy initiatives ranging from nuclear fusion and the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-e), and other cutting-edge projects.
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer/ Process Control Engineer to support process control in the production department. This individual should be driven, self-motivated and have strong troubleshooting skills.
Manufacturing Engineer Job Responsibilities:
- Support the transition of new products from the development team to production by overseeing process control.
- Take existing products facing reliability, cost, manufacturability, quality, or performance limitations, and further developing the process to meet specific standards
- Create new processes to further support the quality and reliability of the product
- Analyze production process as a whole to identify bottlenecks and problem areas
- Work closely with quality to write and implement corrective actions
- Create documentation for processes conforming to ISO 9001 standard
- Train production employees on new and existing processes
- Design assembly work stations, tooling, and fixtures for production floor
- Product and Process reliability
- Statistical analysis
- Physical analysis methods
- Analytical work methodology and problem solving
- Other responsibilities as required
Manufacturing Engineer Qualifications:
- MUST SUBMIT RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED
- BS in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering (required)
- 1 year of experience in a manufacturing engineering role (preferred)
- Experience in Solid Works and FEA (preferred)
- Test equipment and data acquisition software (LabView preferred)
- Knowledge of Aerospace, Automotive or Medical standards (preferred)
- Knowledge of Basic Lean Methodologies (preferred)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Standard (preferred)
- Experience with various Manufacturing processes (preferred)
- Successful implementation of a mixed model assembly line (preferred)
- Experience with mid to high volume mechanical device manufacturing (preferred)
- Employment with Air Squared is contingent on passing a statewide background check, drug screening (for substances illegal in the state of Colorado), and employment verification through E-Verify
