Overview

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for resolving escalated complaints and issues that are complex in nature, to include escalated customer service issues requiring immediate action and root cause analysis. Additionally the Specialist will focus on insuring Inventory synchronization and accuracy between LP and SAP, identifying and resolving issues daily. Provide data and perform initial analysis from operational reports and SAP reports.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile Site Inventory with SAP

Liaison with Corporate Customer Service to manage expedites, exception order management to insure successful customer service * Monitor DC on-time shipping performance, identify, report and provide assistance to reduce and eliminate root causes for DC shipping performance issues

  • Research transportation /customer claims along with LP for dispute and to prevent a recurrence

Monitor inventories with SAP and place orders for office supplies, pallets and other indirect materials needed for shipping department * Track safety issues/observations and sustainability metrics and assists in developing root cause and resolutions

  • Monitors and reconciles inbound/outbound shipping and receiving discrepancies process
  • Liaison with customer service & distribution operations to insure any operational or customer requirement changes are communicated between LP & SAP prior to shipping.
  • Assist facility manager with ad hoc projects as requested

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of logistics or warehouse operations/inventory/customer service experience
  • Strong aptitude for mathematics and analysis
  • Time Management and sense of urgency skills
  • MS Office and Google Suite experience
  • Strong MS Excel skills including pivot tables & v-lookup
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred:

  • Relevant college degree preferred in business, logistics, operations, customer service
  • SAP, warehouse management and order management system experience preferred.
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish

Hiring Range

The Hiring Salary Range for this position is $52,000.00- $80,000.00 annually.

(Salary offer to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)

Regular Full-Time Salaried positions: Will include a comprehensive benefits package.
