Job description: The logistics Manager supports the advancement of Tigre USA’s supply chain strategy by identifying areas for improvement and taking actions required to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the logistics department. He/she also supports the efforts of the logistics teams through leadership, guidance, proactive planning, and savvy decision-making. He/she works effectively with Tigre USA’s teams (sales, operations, finance, accounting, human resources, etc.), with suppliers, and its customers to deliver high-level service to Tigre’s customers. He/she develops and manages members of the logistics team in a manner that increases their capabilities and performance.


· Responsible for all logistics operations and support across all distribution channels

· Responsible for different activities such as Warehouse and Inventory control, Receiving, Replenishment, Shipping, Freight Scheduling, and Continuous Improvement

· Drives the design, development, implementation, and management of logistics solutions for Customers

· Responsible for the strategic and operational planning of Customer logistics operations

· Ascertain industry/logistics best practices to identify new and/or unique programs to differentiate Customers from the marketplace and drive customer satisfaction

· Responsible for internal communications and presentations related to key performance metrics, program updates, and ongoing program information

· Works in conjunction with various teams such as business development, field support, and customer service to handle areas of development and ensure support plans are in place to maintain long-term customer relationships

· Maintains operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments and availability of materials

· Monitors overall inventories of the facility and provides corrective measures to these that exceed desired levels

· Coordinates warehouse activities with activities of other functions

· Manages ongoing partner relationships

· Reviews and analyzes client data weekly for trends, issues, and additional opportunities for freight cost savings

· Manages and oversees the safety and efficiency of internal and external warehouse facilities

· Establishes, negotiates, and manages third-party warehouse services when necessary to complement the business needs

· Ensures that the logistics department provides the most effective and efficient means of transportation for in and outbound shipments

· Verifies adherence to all procedures within safety, corporate / site quality system, operational procedures, and good manufacturing practices

· Reviews and develops freight policies that are consistent with the company’s goals to optimize efficiencies in this area

· Analyzes logistic flows and patterns and implement the changes required to realize savings in both cost and time

· Works with managers and subordinates to implement the company’s policies and goals

· Ensures coaching and development of team members to meet business’s objectives

· Reviews the performance of subordinates

· Tracks competencies of subordinates and provides feedback to unlock the team member’s potential


· Ability to establish relationships with all levels of an organization, while gaining and maintaining credibility

· Data-driven, fact-based decision maker

· Strong collaboration skills and high integrity

· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or business is preferred

· 5 years of experience in Logistics

· Proficient in English, and Spanish desired.
