We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of goods and services from point of origin to point of consumption, ensuring that products are delivered in a timely and cost-effective manner. The Logistics Coordinator will be required to coordinate with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all logistical needs are met. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of supply chain management.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate the efficient movement of goods and materials.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency of the supply chain.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and deliveries.
- Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Negotiate rates with carriers for transportation services.
Prior experience in Supply Chain industry is required.
Expected salary: $55000 – 60000 per year
