Job description: Our client, a video game company, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join the Consumer Products team.
Responsibilities:
- Play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods, materials, and products through our supply chain.
- Collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including suppliers, carriers, and internal departments, to streamline operations, maintain inventory accuracy, and meet customer demands.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate on the end-to-end logistics process, including procurement, inventory management, transportation, and distribution, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Vendor Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, and monitor performance to ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms and service levels.
- Freight Management: Help coordinate the shipment of goods, select appropriate carriers, arrange shipping schedules, and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery while optimizing freight costs.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock audits, and collaborate on inventory management strategies to minimize carrying costs and prevent stock-outs.
- Customs and Compliance: Ensure adherence to all customs regulations, trade compliance laws, and documentation requirements for international shipments.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify potential problems, analyze logistical challenges, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions to resolve any operational disruptions swiftly.
- Process Development: Create and improve processes to maximize efficiency and minimize errors
Musts:
- 3-5 years experience of working across finance admin, merchandise and logistics management.
- You have experience working and collaborating with teams across multiple disciplines.
- You have experience managing external vendors, have strong communication skills, build strong working relationships & understand how to align service delivery needs with business goals.
- You understand the complexities of working within an international organization where team members and stakeholders are spread across multiple geographies.
Pluses:
- You are comfortable working with Excel and Google Sheets to compile and analyze data
- You are comfortable and have a working knowledge of various ecommerce, purchasing, warehouse, and freight forwarding portals.
- For this role, you’ll find success through craft expertise, high attention to detail, a collaborative spirit, and choices that focus on your fellow Rioters, who are the customers of your work. Being a dedicated fan of games is not necessary for this position!
