Job Description
We are looking for a highly technical software developer who has had previous experience launching a brand new DaaS product from the ground up. This individual must bring to the table strong coding practices and set a golden example for the team on how we should tackle software releases.
We need someone to bring order to chaos and enforce CI/CD best practices, a structured code review process and create deployment best practices so that we can deploy our analytics platform in Kubernetes.
Our ideal candidate should have plenty of experience dealing with on-premise systems and the sleuth of niche networking and permission issues that come with such bespoke deployments.
The product that are we developing will be predominantly Spark based, while Spark experience is not mandatory, our preference is to have someone who is skilled with Scala, Python and Spark along with in-depth Linux and Kubernetes experience. You will be the central point of contact for all technical matters during this deployment so a wide breath of technical experience will be key!
