CACI is seeking an IT Systems Technician to support our government customer located at Crane, IN. In this role you will support the NSWC Crane Electro-Optics Division.

What You’ll Get to Do:

Provide Data Management related support, information technology and services including programming support, web publishing, interactive software, systems administration, and other tasks, for basic NMCI system and in-depth military system troubleshooting and diagnostics.

Analyses and recommendations concerning Information Assurance of products and systems supported by the EOTD.

Installation of DADMS approved software onto military systems by user request.

Tasking associated with remedial efforts as needed for military systems to meet crucial deadlines and requirements.

Performing web publishing and modifications for EOTD SharePoint sites as needed.

Utilizing command lines for command/program executions via Windows Powershell and CMD (Command Prompt).

Install required hardware for new and current user workstations. This includes (but not limited to) phones, monitors, mice and keyboards, docking stations, and KVM switches.

Attend both in-person and telecommunication calls/meetings that pertain to (or the involvement of) EOTD Information Technology system support.

Assist with relaying essential IT information and documentation from the Information Technology Department (ITD) to the division information board within Microsoft Teams for user awareness

You will demonstrate competent writing and oral communication skills

You will also ensure quality products and services are delivered to the customer

More About the Role:

Technical knowledge of common Information Technology vocabulary, terminologies, and hardware including (but not limited to) data cords, video adapters, computer components, USB smartcard devices, and storage devices.

Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Registry software.

Familiarity with Office 365 software including MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams.

Perform critical thinking, problem solving, and research skills, in the event of “out-of-the-normal” issues arising.

Customer oriented with ability to effectively communicate across many different disciplined technical points of contact internal to JXQ and the overall NSWC organization, as needed.

Multitask and manage workload independently to assure mission essential schedules are met.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

US Citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Security+ certification

Highly developed interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5 years of related experience

Knowledge of Windows 10 and XP operating systems.

Preferred knowledge of Service Manager ticket workflows from creation to completion.

Qualifications per SECNAV M-5239 Cyberspace Information Security and Cybersecurity Workforce Management and Qualification Manual Minimum CSWF Requirements – IT Support/Computer Technician: Specialty Area- 45; Proficiency Level- Journeyman

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Active Secret Clearance

5-7 years of experience in managing Government IT Systems

Active DoD Secret Clearance

Demonstrated IT System Planning
