Job Description
As a General Maintenance Lead, you will:
- Work closely with other departments to ensure proper coordination in regards to activities taking place in the resort
- Aid craftsman in scheduling work, ordering materials, and completing assignments by a specific date
- Manage and maintain ongoing maintenance work orders and villa maintenance program
- Research and requisition tools, equipment and supplies needed by the Engineering department
- Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments
- Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations
- Track and coordinate projects with the area
- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules
- Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of work crews
- Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems
- Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goal
