Position Summary
The Warehouse Worker / General Laborer position is responsible for general labor tasks around our Coatings facility, including workspace prep, parts prep, general warehouse duties, and more.

Essential Functions
Count and mask parts for painting
Set up and remove fixtures and/or hooks from conveyor lines
Add and remove parts from racking, packaging, and skids as they move through departments and coating processes
Brush off, fill, sand and clean parts for painting
Package finished goods for return to customer or job site
Maintain clean work spaces across the plant
Cross-train in other areas around the plant, including but not limited to inspection, painting, material handling, and quality assurance
Follow LEAN-oriented processes and procedures to ensure exceptional customer service
Other Important Details about the Position
This position reports directly to the Production Lead
This is an on-site, production position
This position has potential to progress into another role, such as Material Handler or Painter – we’ll train you, so you can grow with our business!
Required Qualifications (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
High School Diploma or GED
Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Able to communicate clearly
Problem solving and critical thinking skills
Flexible and open to growth
Positive, team-oriented attitude
Additional Qualifications
Previous warehouse experience
Forklift certification, or interest in becoming certified
Previous experience in a coatings facility or plant
Previous experience in an ISO or LEAN environment
Bilingual in Burmese, Hmong, Karen, Spanish, or Vietnamese helpful, but not required
