onsemi is seeking a self-driven and motivated professional to join the IT Infrastructure Operations team, located in Phoenix, AZ. As a System Admin Support Intern. you will have the opportunity coordinate and schedule with application owners and IT Infrastructure teams to track, organize, and manage server patching process and provide monthly metrics on server operating system compliance. The Intern will have the opportunity to work with a diverse, innovative and motivated Corporate IT team with a global vision respected for our transparency and collaboration by focusing on People, Process, and Technology.
Performance Objectives
- Perform monthly reviews with system admins on regional and global patching compliance progress.
- Organize and deliver server and application owner inventories for multiple global locations.
- Provide monthly reports to Management on compliance tracking for compute operating systems.
- Assist Senior Telecom/Network Administrator with streamlining and enhancing the chargeback process.
- Reconcile infrastructure inventory to applications and owners including the identification of new inventory or removal of assets from inventory.
- Work with outsourced patching partners and help refine sustainable processes for long term operating system compliance.
- Potential to track maintenance and support renewals with vendors.
- Collaborate with IT managers and teams members to build process efficiencies.

Requirements
In order to be considered for an internship, you must be a student currently enrolled in school pursuing an accredited degree program. This position is specifically looking for a student pursuing Bachelor degrees in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Business (Technology) or Business Management.
- Outstanding data analyzing and attention to detail skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written (including technical writing) communication skills.
- Strong customer focus and attention to detail.
- Ability to work within a team structure and ability to multitask.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Strong PC Skills (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
