Job description: About the role:
As the Telecommunications Manager for TQL, you will be responsible for maintaining, planning, designing, and optimizing of all related telecom platforms and networks. Responsible for architecture, strategy, thought leadership and development leadership to promote maximum availability of platforms and capabilities with a strong focus on disaster recovery functionality and capability. Collaborate and co-operate with other Infrastructure and Operations departmental teams to obtain completion of assigned goals and initiatives.

What you’ll be doing:
- Lead and manage the Telecommunication team
- Implement and maintain departmental policy and procedures
- Assesses the needs and requirements of business users and recommend potential solutions
- Oversee research, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies
- Support software developers to clarify solutions and methods of integration
- Provide documentation to clearly communicate designs and initiatives to developers and other business stakeholders
- Monitors network performance
- Document operational procedures and actively engages in troubleshooting efforts
- Act as a Thought leader for voice systems integration to exploit available capabilities and provide business benefit including automation of workflows involving voice systems
What you need:
- 5+ years leading technical teams in Telecommunications
- Experience working directly with business customers to design, construct and implement business solutions
- Knowledge of Avaya ASP4200 Pods and AWFOS call recording platforms preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate information to technical and non-technical end users
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt easily to changing tasks
