Position Responsibilities
Oversee Uline’s Logistics operations with a focus on import and inbound teams.
Establish and maintain relationships with ocean, freight and domestic carriers for all international and domestic transportation.
Participate in carrier management processes including selection, qualification, negotiation and performance evaluation.
Maintain and analyze metrics to assess performance and identify improvement / cost saving opportunities.
Direct, motivate, develop and coach inbound logistics team to meet customer service and team objectives.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree.
5+ years of experience in supply chain management, import logistics, carrier management and negotiations.
Knowledge of distribution, warehousing, customs, order fulfillment, trade issues, and third-party management a plus.
Experience with Transportation Management systems.
