Job description: We are looking for a talented and accomplished Civil Project Engineer with residential, commercial, and/or municipal Land Development experience. As a Project Engineer, you will work with stakeholders at all levels to make sure projects are finished on time and on budget.
Job Functions:
Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to modify construction plans and pull quantities
Create and finalize designs of water, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer systems using local criteria and common engineering design equations
Coordinate schedules with contractors, construction managers, and the survey department to provide solutions for any issues that might arise through the course of construction
Prepare and present due diligence/feasibility reports on properties of interest
Prepare and deliver bid documents, contract documents, cost estimates, and various project proposals to city engineers and clients
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering, construction, building, or related field
State-issued certification or engineering license
Considerable experience in a similar position
In-depth knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, and design
Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software
Familiar with scientific analysis software as well as graphics and map creation software
Proven track record of managing personnel and material resources
Exemplary critical thinking, analytical, and complex problem-solving skills
Strong time management and project management skills
Active listening and verbal communication skills
Ability to use the scientific process to solve problems
Dedication to learning new concepts and strategies

Expected salary: $70000 – 80000 per year
