The has a fantastic opportunity for a Digital Specialist to join an excellent team. This is a full-time, permanent position with the External Relations Division. This is a classified role, represented by SEIU.

What you will do!

The Digital Specialist provides the writing expertise and social media skills needed to support digital engagement on OHA’s social media channels in English, Spanish and other languages as needed. The Digital Specialist will provide design support of social media content on the Canva platform, in addition to general writing and Spanish translations of social media materials as needed. The Digital Specialist will coordinate daily with the External Relations Division (ERD) Social Media Digital Specialist and Health Equity Communications Specialists. This position is a writing communications position and supports the agency communications team on key projects and initiatives. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or the Behavioral or Social Sciences or related degree.

OR

  • Three years technical or higher-level experience directly related to the position under recruitment.

Required Skills:

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent technical and communication skills.
  • The ability to collaborate and work well with people from all different backgrounds and levels within the organization.
  • The ability to work comfortably with people with mental illness, preferably with an awareness of clinical treatment services and experience a mental health setting.
