Job description: Our Auto Repair shop team is rapidly expanding, and we are currently looking for a new automotive technician to join our service center. The ideal candidate will be eager to diagnose and facilitate automotive repairs using our automotive computer software, and their electrical systems expertise. Responsibilities:
Follow a checklist-based approach to comprehensively examine all vehicle systems, such as the engine, transmission, air conditioning, and brake systems
Establish processes for tracking diagnostics and system repairs, maintaining up-to-date manufacturer specifications, and more
Ensure a straightforward repair process by clearly communicating systems issues and repairs
Operate diagnostic equipment to accurately determine the cause of malfunction codes with the vehicle’s integrated computer system
Perform routine maintenance, as needed, like checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and oil changes
- Maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory
National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE certification is strongly desired
Possess a high school diploma or GED
Completion of a certified post-secondary training program is mandatory; an associate degree is ideal
- Must have 5+ years of experience
