Northrop Grumman is in need of an Associate Supply Chain Logistics Specialist to work at its Elkton, Maryland location.

Job Description:

Responsible for the receipt, delivery and inspection of incoming material, central stores/warehousing of program and/or company-acquired material and packaging and shipping services. Provides packaging engineering support, special container design, packaging estimates and format quotes. Ensures the retention of material and supplies for future use and in support of production and/or engineering. Responsible for the accountability and accuracy of physical records. Provides transportation of material and correspondence within the local Northrop Grumman business environment. Maintains functional records in support of internal and external audits to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. Manages, develops or carries out delivery in accordance with local established business policies, procedures and public law. Ensures accuracy of delivery information. Ensures: finished goods inventories, non-proprietary government property inventory, transportation, import/export requirements, and customer returns in conjunction with business area personnel.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have 4 years of experience. Will consider those with a Bachelor’s Degree and 0 or more years of experience.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Must be proficient in Excel and data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Supply Chain.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in Costpoint/SAP
  • Experience w/ Northrop Grumman Corporation internal Policies and Procedures
  • Experience coordinating efforts with other groups/organizations related to Supply Chain
  • In-Depth knowledge of Purchase Order Processing and implications related to the business
  • Experience with training/mentoring team members

Salary Range: $50,300.00 – $75,500.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
