YOUR ROLE
As the Air Logistics Health Care Manager, you will empower the import and export pharma and healthcare team who handles the air freight process from A-Z. You will lead the implementation, support and monitoring of Kuehne+Nagel PharmaChain within their sphere of responsibility. As part of the airfreight management team and in close collaboration with our compliance team, you ensure that all shipments in your control are in compliance with product and all service-related topics. You will manage all locally controlled pharma and healthcare subcontractors and coordinate necessary training or qualifications for your team.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implementation and support of the PharmaChain product portfolio
- Support and consulting of station teams for critical or first-time pharma and healthcare movements
- You will update station specific working instructions and customer SOPs within Pharma Document Management System
- You will lead onboarding new business for the customer care team
- Manage subcontracts within own sphere of influence
- Lead and participate in investigates of pharma shipment deviation and supplying supplemental reports
- Keep up to date with global and country specific standards and regulatory requirements
- Implement product developments and enhancements to globally agreed timescales
- Support regional Pharma Competence managers through the communication of current issues and continuous improvement opportunities identified at station level
- Support airfreight operations teams in industry related questions and requirements
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- 4+ years working experience pharma & healthcare supply chain.
- 4+ years experience in Airfreight or freight forwarding, with both Import/Export Operations.
- 3+ years in leading a team of individual contributors.
- Knowledge of government regulations in regards pharma transportation.
